  • Abstract
STSpsilas SCR installed for reliability improvement of important loadpsilas power supply in industry field where an average of 2% fault occurs. In order to improve these problems attached mechanical switch is parallel with SCRpsilas both end points so that SCR can function during the 60~200 [mS] for the mechanical switch action is possible. Also, an ISC (ideal state conditioning interlock device) system is developed so that the two power supply paths may not be thrown in at the same time. Therefore it removes the overlap section perfectly, raising reliability. These methods have reduced the fault rate remarkably at SCR´s fatigue degree that is in operating conversion action less than 0.89 times a year. Even in the case where the SCRpsilas fault occurred, power supply was not discontinued. It contributes to the promotion of reliability in the uninterruptible power supply device in communication system.
