Abstract :
The sequential design procedure of two-time-scale systems is used to design a feedback controller for a quarter-car model of an active suspension system. The controller uses acceleration measurement. It is shown that the proposed design significantly attenuates the body acceleration gain of the closed-loop system over a frequency range wider than what had been achieved earlier using various design techniques
