Title :
A lognormal fading model and cellular radio performance
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
A lognormal fading model has used the idea of confining the shadowing to objects at the two ends of the radio path only. This idea is generalised: there are different shadowing variances allocated at the mobile and base station ends of the paths and an expression for the decorrelation of the shadowing between arrivals from different directions is included. The interactions of the path-end fading model, site sectoring, and mobile power control on the variance of the log C/I ratios are discussed
