Abstract
We show that, the nonlinear layered media can be used as an optical limiter, which is very useful device in high-speed optical signal processing. For this aim, Kerr-like nonlinearity can be used and layers are quarter-wave in which can be implemented easily by MOCVD and MBE microelectronic standard techniques.
