Abstract :
This paper present a position and speed estimation algorithm based on measurement of phase currents and voltages and a pre-knowledge of the machine model. The aim is to elaborate an accurate estimator in accordance with some specifications, especially the ability to cancel any initial position error and robustness toward a dc-disturbance measured within the electric measurements. In earlier work, an old version of this method was investigated for open-loop position and speed estimation of permanent magnet motor. The present work provides complete description and Real-Time implementation of the method incorporated into sensorless vector control.
