Abstract :
This paper details a wideband RF amplifier utilizing current-mode technology. Under best conditions, it boasts a 20 dB, voltage gain with an approximate bandwidth of 1 GHz. High bandwidth is achieved via lack of a dominant pole. While the amplifier is optimized from a design point-of-view, an improved fabrication process is necessary to achieve the aforementioned optimal performance specifications
