Abstract :
Circuit level distortions, that can be largely ignored in full-power designs, must be accounted for in the link budget of low-power systems. The effect of circuit level distortions on system level performance is becoming an important issue in optimization of the design of low power receivers. We present an analysis that demonstrates and quantifies the effect of one such distortion. We present the influence in reception quality determined by the imbalance in I and Q channels for π/4 DQPSK
