Abstract :
We consider the aspect of power efficiency in signal transmission of band-limited signals. After studying the power efficiency of linear channels and its restrictions by 50% it is shown that nonlinearity enhanced the power efficiency up to 100%. As an example audio power amplication is considered in detail. It is shown that by means of nonlinear signal processing audio signals can be transmitted in a highly-linear manner and with high power efficiency
