Abstract :
This presentation discusses the successful application of an assembled tool set to a 10G APD detector, which resulted in an improved device performance and a four-fold increase in wafer yield. A status report on the tool set´s current application to a 2.5G direct-modulated buried-heterostructure laser is also discussed.
