Abstract
Potassium titanyl phosphate (KTiOPO4, KTP) has been shown to possess some promising bulk properties, such as relatively large electromechanical coupling coefficients and moderate material parameter temperature dependence in frequency control applications. The bulk elastic, piezoelectric, and ferroelectric properties of KTP and its isomorphs are discussed. The influence on piezoelectric and dielectric properties caused by ionic dopants such as barium and gallium is presented
