Abstract
For a laterally inhomogeneous dielectric layer, the dispersion equations and laws of the irregular dynamics of the spectra near the Morse critical point (MCP) are reported. This knowledge permits the square-law representation and furnishes the local equations of the time-space evolution of the wave-oscillation fields
