Abstract
A method for measuring electric power digitally, aimed at utility metering, is presented. It is based on the principle of sampling the voltage and current waveforms periodically, but with the signals being sampled sequentially and inverting the order in which the samples are taken. Simulation results, as well as experimental results, are included. The method is useful for implementing a digital meter with a minimum number of components
