Abstract :
Shape is the main parameters that affect the performance of the pyramidal microwave absorber. The pyramidal shape microwave absorber is the most installed absorber in the anechoic chamber. Double pyramid is the hybrid shaped that exist by combining two pieces of normal pyramidal shape. In this paper, four types of double pyramidal shape are used to design pyramidal microwave absorber in simulation software. The difference of these four types of absorber is the distance between two peaks of the double pyramidal microwave absorber. These microwave absorbers are operating effectively in the frequency range from 1 GHz to 20 GHz.
