  • Abstract
    This paper explore the using of cooperative, distributed agents to improve bus services, these agents include bus departure control agent, bus stop agent, travel guiding agent and so on. This paper focus on the scheme for constructing bus stop agent, that is capable of better managing bus pass in or out the congested stop. These agents have components such as belief warehouse, rule warehouse, environmental set, action set and so on. Agent selects actions to perform from action set according to the support assessment of these actions. While the support assessment of the action is assess by agent in accordance with the rules and beliefs. Finally, a example in Nanjing illustrates how the model worked numerically, the practicality of bus stop agent keeping bus stop order is explored by the example.
