Abstract :
A successful practical application of H∞-optimal robust regulation to an electromechanical system is presented. Particular attention is paid to the approach used to simplify the controller by choosing a nominal plant (model of the system) and to improve the theoretical optimal control according to engineering experience. The experiment shows the feasibility of the method
