We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

As the political, cultural and economic center of China, Beijing is aiming at building a world city. What is the position of Beijing in the ranking of international cities? What are the bottlenecks for Beijing to be a world city? These questions will be answered intensively in this paper.
