Abstract :
The actimeter is a computerised device that measures and records gross human body movements up to a 24 hour time span. The data obtained from the actimeter are used to compare the body position profiles of disabled individuals to those of able-bodied individuals for identifying a possible job match. The analysis of preliminary data obtained from the actimeter indicates that the system is up to 93% accurate
