Enhancing NetAcad by Offering Fully Flexible Student Services on an Integrated Online Learning Platform

This paper aims to present the online learning platform developed by the 2007 Local Academy of the Year in order to standardize and automatize the specific activities and processes of the Cisco Networking Academy and truly offer students the basic tenets of LifeLongLearning: any time, any place, any pace. The paper begins with the main shortcomings of the Cisco management tools for local academies and continues with the learning platform our academy has implemented to overcome these shortcomings. The presentation will include a description of the services currently offered to academic staff as well as to the academy´s students in order to increase student satisfaction and results.
