Abstract
This paper describes an incipient fault diagnostic system for high-pressure gas regulators. Here, we focus on the pressure regulator for LP gas. The main fault is abnormal vibration caused by deterioration of the rubber diaphragm. A compact and portable measurement system was developed using a condenser microphone to detect the diaphragm vibration. The system can distinguish a normal pressure regulator from one that has deteriorated
