Abstract
The implementation of comprehensive outage management systems is of prime importance to many electrical utilities. In this time of cut backs, spending freezes and an uncertain future for electrical utilities, there are a number of reasons why outage management is one area in which utilities are willing to spend budget dollars to implement new technology.
