Abstract
This paper describes IP2 and DC offset tuning methods for current mode output downconversion mixers, which are suitable for low-voltage RFIC applications. A prototype of a 1.5 V double-balanced I/Q mixer for cellular applications operating in a 700 MHz - 2200 MHz, frequency range, equipped with the calibration circuits and fabricated in a 0.13 um RF CMOS technology, is presented. Experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed tuning approach.
