Abstract :
A compact microstrip triple-mode resonator is proposed for an asymmetric response filter application. The proposed triple-mode resonator supports three transmission poles and one transmission zero. Each resonance condition and transmission zero generated is analyzed using an equivalent circuit. The bandpass filter is designed for a 2.4 GHz WLAN. Experimental measurements are also presented to validate the theory.
