Abstract :
Four GPR antenna configurations were used to illuminate the subsurface using different polarizations. We conducted field experiments in a test site where different objects were buried at a known depth. Measurements with two co-pole antenna configurations were conducted along crosswise sections. In addition, measurements in a 3D grid were carried out at the top of one of the buried objects using four different antenna configurations. We show preliminary results showing some advantages and limitations of each antenna configuration.
