Abstract :
Remanent strain and electric field induced strain for morphotropic soft doped lead zirconate titante (PZT) ceramics with different Zr/Ti ratios have been measured in the temperature range from 20??C to 160??C. The temperature behavior of strain is analyzed with respect to the effects resulting from temperature induced changes in the piezoelectric effect and from non-180?? domain switching. The relation between changes in strain and changes in structural characteristics are pointed out.
