Abstract :
Technology has changed dramatically with reduced voltage electrical motor starters on electrical power systems with low energy supplies. This paper explores the requirements for when reduced voltage starters are required, information required for determining the type of equipment to be used, types of equipment available and their applications and limitations. Process impacts and actual installations are described for a low voltage installation
