Abstract :
Largely used in the design of multichip modules, the models of passive components currently available in circuit simulators have the disadvantage of not incorporating the very significant effects of electromagnetic coupling on radio and microwave frequencies. The concept of the generation of precise and rapid neural models, which integrate the coupling effects, is introduced here. By optimising the performance of a circuit, this approach enables the automatic optimisation not only of the geometric structure corresponding to the different passive components, but also their position in the circuit. Application using the models implemented in the circuit simulators are presented.
