Abstract :
In JAEA, mode conversion in the corrugated waveguide system which is the same inner diameter of the ITER waveguide transmission line was studied. The mode contents at the input and end of the straight section of TL were measured and the mode conversion loss caused by the straight section which composed from several pieces of straight waveguides was discussed. The method to minimize the mode conversion loss in each section was also proposed.
