Abstract :
We have designed a high out of band rejection BPF (Band Pass Filter) using Aluminum IPD (Integrated Passive Device) technology. The size of the filter is 1.45 × 1.35mm. It is very smaller then the same kind of filter. A three-stage resonator using for magnetic coupling has been applied to schematic of BPF and A MIM or Interdigital capacitor between first resonator and third resonator was used for high out of band rejection. It could be possible 16dB attenuation at 1.8GHz. IPD foundry adopted Selective Anodized Aluminum Oxide of Wavenics Inc. It has inductor of high quality and improved quality factor at high frequency because of reduced permittivity and thick dielectric.
