Abstract
The design of electronic systems becomes more and more difficult mainly because of 2 points (i) increase in complexity and heterogeneity, (ii) the system parts are described generally by different expertises and cultures distant teams. The cooperation between these teams requires their displacements while bringing their work environments. This paper comes within codesign framework. This framework allows methodology and environment implementation of distributed design in Java for a better cooperation between the different modules of the system. Given that the components of a system are often written in different languages, it is necessary to translate them in an intermediate structure. Several intermediate formats have been proposed that are limited at generally an un-distributed context. So, in this work we propose a distributed intermediate format, "Colif Etendu" that spreads the one of Colif. This format permits heterogeneous and distant team to share ideas, to simulate their products and to guarantee a better integration of the subsystems before the final manufacture.
