Abstract :
The generalized model for mobile satellite channels includes main classical narrowband models and suits well with the features of UHF/L/Ka. The paper provides statistical description of the model, and analyses in detail kinds of parameters related with channel model such as level cross rate (LCR), average fade duration (AFD), bit error rate (BER), block error rate. Finally, the paper describes the procedure to extract model parameters from experimental data.
