Abstract :
In this paper a new multiple access protocol CDMA/PRAM-HS for a LEO constellation is present, which supports mixed reservation mode and data terminals with random competing mode. This proposed scheme improves the capacity of the system, and voice packets have higher priority for transmission. In this paper, the performance of the protocol is analyzed in theory and is discussed with numerical values. Results indicate that this is a good protocol for integrating voice/data traffic.
