Abstract :
This paper presents two kinds of discriminating coupling scheme and the application to LTCC bandpass filters. Both continuous and separated coupling regions are utilized to realize the discriminating coupling scheme which can block the third harmonic and allow the transmission of signals at the fundamental frequency. It is realized by selecting proper coupling region without adding extra circuit. For demonstration purpose, two LTCC bandpass filters are implemented and the results are presented.
