Abstract :
Digital contents show great advantages in terms of storage and processing. Furthermore, they can be reproduced without loss of quality, and allow for easy and imperceptible modifications. However, this will have its problems. In fact, intellectual properties are becoming harder to protect and so are original contents. That´s why we need new techniques to be developed such as image watermarking. In this paper, we present a new scheme of image watermarking to guard intellectual properties and to secure the content of digital images. Our developed algorithm was also tested against image compression, with its standards: JPEG and JPEG2000.
