Abstract :
In this paper, the design of multiple loop antenna is presented for near-field UHF radio frequency identification (RFID) applications. The proposed antenna is operated at 920-925 MHz along the standard of the RFID frequency band in Thailand. The antenna can generate the magnetic field distribution in three principal directions in the operating area. The prototype antenna was fabricated on FR4 substrate with overall size of 13.90 cm × 16.10 cm × 0.6 mm. The proposed antenna has a good impedance matching and uniform magnetic field distribution.
