Title :
3G wireless networks provisioning and monitoring via policy based management
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
The size and number of network-element and service-node types are growing in 3rd generation wireless systems, which are becoming more and more complex. Policy-based management is a cornerstone for simplifying the management and reducing operating costs of these networks. This paper provides an update on how the policy paradigm is supporting and facilitating the network and operations management of the 3G networks.
