Abstract
A structured cell-based custom video image processor, capable of grouping contiguous pixels from a raster scan image and then calculating centroid information for each group, is described. The 15-MHz processor, fabricated in 1.6-μm CMOS, contains 210000 transistors, is 8650 μm by 7290 μm, and is fully operational in a wide field of view target tracking system
