Abstract
The problem of detecting an initial phase or amplitude jump in noisy sinusoidal signals is discussed here. A generalized likelihood ratio (GLR) test is derived from a particular model of the perturbated signal. Once the detection has been performed, recover the altered sinusoids and estimate separated magnitudes of jump is solved by an additional procedure
