Abstract :
We propose a new algorithm to estimate the 2-D direction of arrival (DOA) of narrowband sources lying in the far field of the array. This method first uses the two row uniform linear array to construct the third subarrays and obtain three sets of data. At the second stage, the method using the space-time DOA matrix method to processing the data. The method doesn´t need 2-D search, which could reduce the calculation consumption, low requirement for sub-arrays and good estimation effect under the low SNR conditions. In addition, the method makes full use of arrays that improve the efficiency of array elements. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the method.
