Abstract
Phase structure of signals relating to the ground penetrating radar (GPR) using the stepped frequency continuous wave (SFCW) signal is being analyzed for extraction of additional information about physical properties of buried objects. It was shown that the gradient of phase frequency dependence of signals reflected from underground layers is determined by their electrical properties. The method of representation of signals phase structure at georadar movement along earth surface like the image of phase shift isolines (lines corresponding to phase shift of n2pi ) is proposed. It was shown that the variability of the isolines is determined by medium physical properties change or presence of nonhomogeneous objects.
