Abstract :
Long range 1:1 B-site cation order was developed in relaxor ferroelectric Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 as well as in normal ferroelectric Pb(Zr0.5Ti0.5)O3 through cation substitution. It was found that the dielectric/ferroelectric behavior of the chemically ordered PMN is strongly dependent on the substituting species. For PZT, long range cation order was observed in (1??x) Pb(Mg1/2W1/2)O3??xPb(Zr0.5Ti0.5)O3 when x<0.9. Dielectric and ferroelectric properties are evaluated in these chemically order PZT ceramics.
