Abstract :
The problem of simultaneous clutter and jammer rejection for radars on moving platforms is discussed. Clutter received by a moving radar is Doppler broadband. The motion induced Doppler spread can be compensated for by space-time clutter filtering. Jammers are usually broadband so as to cover the entire radar bandwidth. From the viewpoint of Doppler processing, jammer cancellation is a spatial problem. The question of a simultaneous jammer and clutter rejection spatial and space-time filter is discussed. Several receiver configurations are compared.
