Abstract :
The design of a digital based piecewise linear controller for a PWM inverter is presented in this paper. The controller is derived from Fuzzy controller and the Proportional Integral (PI) controller. The advantages of both controllers are inherited to compensate each other limitations. The design is described in detail and simulation and hardware results for typical load disturbances are presented. Both results validate the controller design.
