Abstract :
A complex approach to design and investigation of the time-domain and frequency characteristics of the antenna, ultra-wideband signals and properties of the radiated field are presented in the paper. A simple pulse ultra-wideband antenna for use in radiocommunication WPAN systems is proposed. Time-domain and the limitation of UWB signals´ spectrum are investigated. The electric field radiated in chosen directions was calculated and the results are discussed in the paper.
