Abstract :
Unidirectional Lightweight Encapsulation (ULE) is made to overcome some efficiency issues that occurred in Multi-Protocol Encapsulation (MPE). ULE reduces data transmission overhead. Sending data through Digital Video Broadcast via Satellite (DVB-S) technology is more cost effective compared to the traditional satellite based Internet Protocol architecture. In this paper, UDL (Unidirectional Link) mesh network deployment using ULE will be discussed.
