Abstract
In this paper, a new digital image restoration model based on local constraints is proposed with attempting to address the problems of the classical TV (total variation) restoration model and the p-Laplace model. To this end, we adopt the adaptive regulation in this proposed model, which differs from the global regulation used in the classical TV restoration mode and the p-Laplace model. The proposed model can not only preserve and enhance edge and boundary features but also avoid the staircase effect. An efficient numerical schema is used for the implementation of the model. Experimental results on image denoising and deblurring represent that the proposed model is better than the classical TV restoration mode and the p-Laplace model.
