Abstract :
Based on the thyristor phase-controlled rectifier technology of the industry DC power supply system, the existing system topologies and application on harmonic suppression of multi-pulse rectifier technology and passive filtering technology in the grid side are introduced. The harmful effects of the existing harmonic currents to the rectifier transformers and the disadvantages of the traditional schemes are analyzed. Then, a green and energy saving DC power supply system based on inductive filtering technology is presented. Based on the new rectifier transformer, the new DC power supply system reaches the goal that harmonic suppression nearby harmonic sources and reactive power compensation by the harmonic suppression circuit constructed by filtering windings and LC full-tuned filters. From the respects of harmonic currents´ effects to the rectifier transformer and flow path of the existing harmonic currents, energy savings of the new rectifier system is shown. Later, from the point of the energy saving of system, the energy savings of the DC power supply system are synthesis designed and analyzed on the following aspects: energy saving design of the system and critical equipments, harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation on the valve side. Finally, from the engineering testing results, it could be seen that harmonic suppression and synthesis design of energy saving are considerable superiority.
