Abstract :
At present, the small diameter thin-walled steel tube has been widely used as pipeline in aerospace, military, nuclear industry and other important fields. In order to guarantee the steel tube without leakage in service, so it is necessary to inspect the defect accurately. Many experts and scholars have done a lot of research on this issue. As we know, ultrasonic testing is commonly used to detect a workpiece before, during and after testing. This paper surveys the ultrasonic inspection technology for small diameter thin-walled tube, including some theories of ultrasonic testing, algorithms be used in this subject, the components of the testing system. And then, the development trends and some suggestion of the ultrasonic inspection technology for small diameter thin-walled tube will be discussed.
