Abstract :
Space-based radar (SBR) is capable of providing flexible wide-area coverage of air, land, and sea targets. The design of the radar signal processor (RSP) is reported. It is part of a real-time demonstrator system for evaluating SER concepts. The relationships among the signal processing functions, the reasons for their location in the signal processing chain, and techniques for reducing computation rates are discussed.
