  • Abstract
    According to the telecommunications transmission network, this paper briefly analyzes the shortcomings of current network management system and the characteristics of CORBA and web technologies. It also summarizes the advantage of CORBA and WEB technologies applied in TMN. Then, the design of integrated transmission network management system based on CORBA and Web is presented and constructed. An integrated architecture of this system includes three different but related aspects: functional architecture, physical architecture and information architecture.
