Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a method for detecting R wave of an electrocardiogram (ECG) based on the detection of singularities through the local maxima. This method is based on the detection of singularities of the product of three successive levels of decomposition of the wavelet transform. We tested the algorithm of detection on various signals from the MIT / BIH polysomnographic database containing various types of pathologies.
